TAKE BACK TIME!

65 THINGS TO DO THIS FALL AT WICKWOOD . . .
Or, just do nothing at all.

"I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than to be crowded on a velvet cushion."    --- Henry David Thoreau

You can walk for more miles on the beach than you ever do in your own neighborhood, glide your Retro boat gracefully down the river without a sound, fall in love with the painting you've been searching for, marvel at the crushing of the apples, have a sommelier fill your glass slowly with a wine that dazzles you, slide into a booth just when the jazz begins, and spot the Harvest Moon rising even before the blazing sun drops into a pumpkin watercolor sky.

You're in Saugatuck, when the real lovers arrive.

"Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile." --- William Cullen Bryant

"I'm so glad that I live in a world where there are Octobers."
                                                         --- L. M. Montgomery

"There's a ghost of change in the air." --- Anon

"Take rest. A field that has rested gives a bountiful crop". --- Ovid

"It looked like the world was covered in a cobbler crust of brown sugar and cinnamon."   --- Sarah Allen

"Fall is when everything bursts with its last beauty as if nature had been saving up all year for one grand finale!" --- Lauren DeStefano

"I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house." --- Nathaniel Hawthorne
